Commissions Explained

This is an example of a $250,000 home, comparing a traditional broker charging a 6% commission vs the Help-U-Sell commission structure.

Every real estate transaction has two sides, the listing side and the selling side.

A traditional real estate broker charging a 6% commission on a $250,000 home would split the commission between the two sides.

               Listing Commission                                                   Selling Commission

                     3% = $7,500 plus         3% =  $7,500

  Total  Commission = $15,000

Your Realtor might list the property and a Realtor from another company could be the one to show and sell it and they would each get 3% or $7,500.

Your Realtor might list the property and find the buyer for the property, and they would get both the listing and the selling commissions equaling $15,000.

At Help-U-Sell we charge a flat fee on the listing side and you would pay a 3% commission  to the selling broker if a Realtor from another company procured the buyer.

Flat Fee Listing Commission                       Selling Commission

                      $3,995        plus                                                                            3% = $7,500

  Total Commission = $11,495

You just saved $3,505 !!!!!!

But if Help-U-Sell lists the property and  procures the buyer you only pay 1.5% on the selling side.

                       $3,995                                     plus                            1.5% = $3,750

Total Commission = $7,745

                You just saved $7,255 !!!!!!!!!

Please note::  All commissions are negotiable and are not set by law.
